Our client is seeking an Assistant Company Secretary for a 12-month maternity contract, offering a unique chance to work within a dynamic financial services environment. The position requires a proactive and organised individual who can start in early November to ensure a smooth handover.
The ideal candidate will be ICSA qualified or part-qualified, with a solid technical understanding and experience in the financial services sector. You should be familiar with audit and risk terminology specific to banking, and capable of handling minute-taking and meeting organisation. This role involves working closely with PAs to executive directors, minuting the Audit and Remco committees and supporting Exco. Additionally, you will be involved in strategic tasks, board and legal training, and responsible for company filings. The ability to deal with change and enhance processes is crucial and someone adept at touch typing would be useful.
