Capital Markets and Lending Lawyer

London, Dependant on experience, permanent
Back to vacancies

A substantial growth plan at this recently listed financial services organisation has resulted in a need to expand the legal team. The Head of Legal is now seeking a lawyer to support the treasury, global markets, trade finance and other front office teams. This is a pivotal role and we are looking for a mid to senior level lawyer from either a structured finance, capital markets/derivatives, or trade finance background, or someone with a broad spread of investment banking experience. The role will require someone to assist in the setting up of the legal function and processes, and as part of an international specialist business which is mission focussed, you will be required to work on a small volume, but a large number of legal matters.

This position will suit someone around 4-10 years qualified who is technically proficient but more importantly, is self-motivated and looking for continuous development. It is important that you are not daunted by starting with very little and building a function to support the growing business from scratch. Some in-house experience would be preferable.
