Commercial/Technology/Outsourcing Lawyer, In-House

A competent lawyer with strong commercial and outsourcing contracts experience is now being sought for a technology and innovations legal team within a reputable bank. This bank is heavily investing in an area high on the CEO and General Counsel’s agenda and this hire will be drafting, negotiating and advising on large-scale outsourcings as well as supporting specialist commercial projects around the bank. As part of a small team, you will be required to work on cloud agreements, services agreements, and intra-group arrangements, playing your part in keeping the bank at the forefront of digital innovation and financial technology.
We are looking for a junior lawyer, but someone experienced and confident enough to be thrown in (with support) at the deep end with a hefty workload. You should have knowledge of regulations surrounding outsourcing in financial services, including the EBA guidelines on outsourcing. Credibility will be essential, as a large part of the role will require you to challenge the business as well as deal with senior management.
