Our client is a boutique professional services company based in Central London. They are looking to hire a Director of Legal Services to act as GC and Compliance Officer to the business, maximise the potential of the legal team and work in partnership with clients. Joining the Board of Directors you will be responsible for leading and building the legal function whilst delivering significant value to both clients and the business as a whole. With strong relationship building skills you will also work closely with Marketing to continue to hone new business development strategies whilst maintaining strong links with existing clients.
The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial corporate solicitor who can combine being a technical expert with strong leadership and managerial skills. With at least 7 years’ pqe you will be a commercially minded self-starter who is able to think strategically and is keen to make an impact from an early stage. Circa two years’ prior experience advising fast-growth UK-based SMEs will considerably strengthen your application.
