Our client is a major global player with an incredibly diverse offering. They are looking to hire an experienced commercial contracts lawyer in a quasi-legal role within an innovative business stream which operates like a tech start-up although with the comfort of being part of a much larger organisation.
You will benefit from reporting into a lawyer and retaining your practising certificate yet will sit outside of the legal team in a more business focused role. With a global reach your focus will be on complex commercial negotiations and you will be good at identifying issues, managing large projects and dealing with multiple workstreams.
This will suit a lawyer with at least 7 years’ pqe with the desire to take on responsibility and lots of autonomy from day one. With a strong background in commercial contracts you will be comfortable leading calls and challenging internal stakeholders when necessary. Prior exposure to data privacy and/or the professional services sector would make your application stand out but this is not essential.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to use your legal skills in more of a business context.
