A well regarded global insurance company is now looking for a senior lawyer to support the property and casualty business lines across EMEA, but with particular focus on UK&I. This is a largely standalone role and offers autonomy as you work on a broad range of matters such as insurance distribution, review of Lloyd’s contracts, governance matters and general legal advice to stakeholders on all aspects of the product. You will also lead on local and international projects and support on sanctions and cyber issues.
Due to the broad nature of the position, there is some flexibility in terms of the background that our client will consider and you could be either a contentious or non-contentious lawyer, with the potential to take the lead on litigation for a contentious lawyer. There is the possibility of broadening the role further into Europe and to recruit further junior resource subject to business need. Some P&C experience is essential and you should be between 4 and 10 years qualified.
