This international asset manager has a small London office and a friendly and supportive culture. They are looking to hire an experienced lawyer to start in January for a circa 12 month fixed term contract covering a maternity leave. As the Sole Lawyer in London you will be responsible for all legal matters from setting up new funds to vendor contracts as well as taking the lead on compliance. Working closely with overseas offices you will hold two SMCR functions and lead on providing all legal, compliance and regulatory advice across Europe.
With at least 10 years’ pqe you will be a qualified lawyer with proven UCITS experience as well as a strong background in compliance. With experience acting at a senior legal, you will be decisive with excellent communication skills and the gravitas to influence key stakeholders.
