Our client is an international asset management house with a supportive culture and a market leading presence in its key focus areas. They are currently looking to hire a commercially minded trading/derivatives lawyer to join the team. Your remit will involve providing legal support across all business areas in relation to all aspects of the sell-side relationships and documentation with a particular focus on derivatives and REPOs.
With at least 10 years’ relevant experience the ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer who is a team player with strong communication skills keen to build relationships across the business from an early stage. You will have a commercial approach and the desire to juggle a varied workload. With an excellent understanding of ISDA and related documentation gained at least initially in private practice, this will suit a lawyer who is eager to build on this experience and take on a senior role in this close-knit team. You will have robust drafting skills, strong attention to detail and be a good team player able to see the bigger picture.
