Back to vacancies

The growing legal team at a UK based financial services specialist requires a junior lawyer to support the treasury, finance and risk functions. Working closely with a senior lawyer and as part of a highly motivated legal team you will work on capital, funding and liquidity issues as well as securitisations and structured finance transactions (structured notes, structured deposits, warehousing, etc.). There is also the opportunity to get involved in broader banking legal work and you will work on regulatory projects impacting these businesses. You will manage legal risk whilst facilitating the execution of deals. You will get direct business contact beyond what you might expect at some other banks and you will be expected to be hands on and proactive.

We are looking for someone with quality experience, probably from within a debt capital markets, structured finance or securitisation team in practice. We will also be keen to see lawyers with in-house experience of treasury functions although this is not essential. This organisation believes in giving its customers a personal service and you will also be treated and respected as a valued employee.
