Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial & Technology)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Legal Counsel with a passion for technology to join a dynamic start-up. This role is a unique chance to become the legal expert in a fast-growing fintech company that is making significant strides in the international trade space. You will support the expansion of an already successful, innovative product and the platform’s launch into new countries around the world. This is a full-time, permanent role that does not currently exist, making it a unique chance to shape and grow with the project.

Our client is seeking an experienced lawyer with at least 6 years of experience, who is comfortable working autonomously and prepared to take calculated risks. The ideal candidate will have a start-up mentality, possessing a solid background in commercial contracts, technology and data protection with any experience of international trade being an advantage. This role would be particularly suited to a common law qualified lawyer with a top law firm background in addition to a few years in fintech start-up or similar environment. The role demands a tech-savvy legal professional who is eager to learn and grow within the international trade sphere. A pragmatic, confident individual with excellent commercial acumen and a willingness to engage in a variety of tasks will thrive in this position.
