A global organisation is seeking a Regulatory Legal Counsel at Associate Director level to join their international legal team to help shape regulatory strategy across multiple jurisdictions.
What You’ll Do
• Advise on financial services regulation and global regulatory developments, including (but not exclusively) EU AI Act, NIS2, ESG, sanctions, and digital operational resilience (DORA).
• Assess the impact of regulatory changes on business operations and client-facing activities.
• Work closely with senior stakeholders, legal, compliance, and risk teams worldwide.
• Manage external counsel and contribute to internal policies, guidance, and best practices.
About You
• Qualified lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent) with at least 7 years’ PQE.
• Strong in-house experience within a global financial or professional environment.
• Proven expertise in regulatory compliance, change management, and governance.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, collaborative, and able to lead complex projects independently.
