Head of Board & Governance Legal Services – Investment Manager
A leading global investment management firm is seeking a senior legal leader to head its Board & Governance Legal Services function across Europe. With operations spanning the UK, Ireland and Germany, this is a high-impact role advising multiple boards and supporting a mission focused on long-term investor success. You will lead a team delivering governance and company secretarial support across several regulated entities, working closely with senior executives and independent directors.
The role combines strategic legal advisory with oversight of board operations, ensuring strong governance frameworks, regulatory support and high-quality stakeholder engagement. You will advise on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters, enhance board effectiveness, and drive continuous improvement through innovation and technology. In addition, you will lead a team of 3, shape and deliver a forward-looking governance strategy, strengthen director engagement, and ensure processes remain aligned with evolving regulatory expectations.
This opportunity will suit a qualified lawyer with significant corporate governance experience in regulated financial services. You will bring strong leadership capability, sound judgment and the ability to influence at senior level, alongside deep knowledge of UK and European regulatory frameworks.
