Back to vacancies

Our client is an established UK financial services organisation that runs several pension schemes, including a master trust. It is looking for an experienced Trustee Secretary to lead governance and secretarial matters across the schemes.

Reporting to the Head of Trustee Governance Services, you will run the Trustee Board and committee cycle, from setting agendas through to minuting and following up on actions. You will also own the governance framework and statutory filings, and manage Trustee training and board effectiveness reviews. You will work closely with the Chair, Trustee Directors and the executive team, and manage one direct report.
You will have at least five years’ senior company secretarial or governance experience in financial services, a strong understanding of pension schemes (master trust experience preferred) and good knowledge of the Companies Act. You will also be confident minuting and advising at board level.

This is a high-profile role in a small specialist team, with real scope to shape how governance is delivered.
