In-house Banking Lawyer, 12 month fixed term contract

Our client is a niche international banking group with a London office nestled in the heart of the West End. A vacancy has arisen for a transactional banking and finance lawyer to join the collegiate legal team and work predominantly on real estate finance, wholesale banking, syndicated lending and trade finance matters. There will also be the opportunity to broaden your experience into more commercial legal work. The headcount approval is for a 12 month fixed term contract so this is a great move for someone looking to gain in-house experience in a business focused environment.

This will suit a team player with approximately 3-6 years’ PQE, a positive attitude and the desire to fully integrate with the business. Candidates from a general banking background will be considered alongside those who are coming from a more specialist finance practice area and are keen to diversify.  You will be proactive with the desire to use both your technical skills and commercial acumen to continually improve processes across the bank.

This is a great first move for someone keen to join a supportive in-house team in a varied role.  Our client has a very positive culture and a flexible approach to hybrid working – most of the team work 1-2 days in the office and 3-4 days from home.
