Litigation Associate

Our client is a boutique business that funds and runs debt recovery claims for insolvency practitioners, mostly on construction insolvencies. Operating in a niche market has resulted in high business growth and they are currently looking to hire an additional junior litigator as they continue the expansion.

Working with a Managing Associate, you will run a high volume of smaller recovery claims from start to finish. Speed sets the business apart, so the focus is on keeping every matter moving: pushing for settlement and preparing cases for adjudication. The client is looking for a lawyer with at least 2 years volume debt recovery/litigation experience. Ideally you will be a qualified lawyer although legal executives and experienced paralegals will be considered. Construction or insolvency experience is not needed, as training is given. The role would suit a self-starter from private practice who enjoys running cases but wants a different, in-house environment where there are no timesheets or business development targets.

You will work in a central London office two days a week for a collegiate company where effort is recognised.
