A scale up financial services company is looking for a senior lawyer with a commercial and technology skill set to join the General Counsel as the volume of legal work increases and the department starts its growth journey. As well as contracts, tech and outsourcing, you will be expected to cover all general in-house legal work and become the go to business-as-usual lawyer. Working in a fintech will require the aptitude to learn about regulatory matters, although with a strong risk and compliance team, we are not looking for a regulatory lawyer. Some transactional corporate experience might be useful but essential to this role is that you are highly adaptable, eager to learn and willing to roll up your sleeves.
Your experience can be from private practice with secondment experience, or in-house. You will work with a skilled and experienced board in a diverse organisation which is lean and nimble and growing fast. This is a great time to join the business in a pivotal role.
