OUR CLIENT – is the London branch of the largest European bank in it’s headquartered country. The business offers corporate and wholesale banking services, including transactional banking, leasing, invoice financing, clearing and other client solutions. THE ROLE – The opportunity covers both commercial and privacy work in an almost even split. On the commercial side you will dealing with a on a wide range of commercial contracts relating to suppliers and services, HR matters, building leases and outsourcing. From a privacy perspective you will deal with DSARs, privacy matters in contracts and varied enquiries from the business. On both sides you will partner with the wider legal team and the Head Office on supporting associated projects.
THE CANDIDATE – will be a qualified lawyer, eligible to work in the UK, with 3 to 8 years commercial and or privacy experience. Whilst your background can be from either side, some privacy experience is required. You will have a strong technical background, preferably gained from a leading law firm with some in-house experience, either from a secondment or an in-house move. Some financial services experience is desirable but for a high calibre candidate, not essential. This is a broad ranging role and is an exceptional opportunity for a candidate looking to make a first or 2nd move in-house to an organisation which is growing and investing.
