Senior Investment Lawyer – Global Financial Services Group

A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a senior investment lawyer to join its central legal team in a strategically important role supporting the group’s global investment activities.
With investments core to the group’s performance this role offers a rare blend of investments, private equity, M&A and governance and a high-level of strategic involvement. It is a senior in-house position requiring commercial judgment, confidence in stakeholder management, and the ability to balance partnership with control.

You should have experience in asset management and investment fund regulatory matters as well as exposure to private assets to be considered for this position. Broader transactional exposure to corporate finance, derivatives oversight, and potentially M&A would also be beneficial. You are likely to have around 10–15 years’ experience and will require at least some in-house secondment experience if coming from private practice. You will need to demonstrate the ability to operate in a complex global organisation and a UK or international background is welcomed. The preferred location for this is Paris, with the French language being essential.
